Sex is a Bond.

During our podcast conversation Carisa mention how sex is a bonding act particularly in women, ut to a lesser degree in men. Somewhere in the back of my mind the related information came flooding back to my consciousness. She stated the different chemicals released in women versus men during intercourse. Women release a bonding chemical while men release a feel good chemical.

In recent time, it seem we have forgotten there are noticeable differences between the sexes, both psychological and physically. The topic surfaced when discussing the #metoo movement relating how women are pursuing equality to men, but may be forsaken their feminine traits that biologically categorize people as women.

The premise behind seeking out relationship and sex experts falls upon my own need to understand the recent various stances in modern society related to gender and understanding.

Toxic Masculinity vs Healthy Masculinity

There is an theme with men in general. Men want to be the hero to their partner. We are constantly bombarded with images of the toxic male, but there are few images focused on the positive roles model. It’s like we are being programmed through media and information presented to us daily. Carisa pointed out some differences in Toxic versus Non-Toxic masculinity. Much of the former is derived from lack of proper role models and male peer pressure. There are many men who have not had the privileged of male guidance in the proper avenues of conduct towards women.

Men and Women – Who controls the water level?

We are in a state of a rampant MAN/Boy presence. These are the adult/mature males who still are suffering from a form of arrested development. Everyone wants to be a player it seems, this is on both sides of the gender fence. Dating Apps such as Tinder, Bumble, and P.O.F are great for physical hook-ups, but are less suited for long term meaningful relationships. So Who controls the water when there is more sex than relationships. In my opinion this will lead to more chaos generations later

Learn How to give and Learn how to receive.

We ultimately have to learn how to give and receive unselfishly and treat other how we and they would like treated, but with a twist. Try to see life outside of yourself, by starting with empathy. Relationships be they platonic, romantic or with self requires effort and work.
