Carla’s battle cries are two-fold:

1. “Powerful writing changes lives!” It opens doors to opportunities that would otherwise remain closed.
2. “Powerful writing is the lifeblood of successful organizations” It often tips the balance between success and failure.

What led Carla to her now?

I realized the power of the written word and its impact when, as a lieutenant colonel, I transformed my 480-person unit from the most losing in statewide quarterly and annual professional awards (critical for career progression of my troops) into the one to beat. How? I developed my writing methodology and taught them to compose compelling nominations. So effective and popular was my one-hour workshop, I taught it for the next 15 years to thousands of people. That began my own life-changing journey, which continues to this day.

What is Write to influence

“Write to Influence!” applies to professionals in the workforce (banish bureaucratic blather) to kids in high school facing the college application essay … I thrill in empowering people to better their lives through their own words and would love to share this story with your listeners!
