Angela Henderson and I discussed her geographical history, Starting in Edmonton Alberta Canada eventually moving to Albuquerque New Mexico for high school and undergrad.

The initial vocation for Angela was a Clinical social work of which she holds her master’s degree.

During her time in Australia as she was starting a family, Angela stumbled upon a product void for infants and children. All the products were electronic devices, which she noticed interacted with the child versus the child interacting with the toy. This observation really gave her pause, since many new child products lack the imagination building skills required to promote good childhood development.

Started Finlee and Me. (Product based business)
Worked with Large retailers similar to Walmart.
Signed with Nexflix as a top 30 Blogger in Australia.
Began consulting as a result of being sought from her initial success.
Believes in building relationships is key.
Worked full time and ran a business at night.

Finlee and Me was Angela’s first venture into the online business world. The business was an eCommerce platform with 1400 products geared to creating childhood memories through play love and travel. Additionally, a blog was developed catering to the audience of Moms who gravitated towards the brand. Unlike many product eCommerce sites focusing on just the products, Angela focused on the mental physical and social issues these moms were facing.

Have clarity to know what you need to get to your goal.
Don’t have the shiny object infatuation( Stay Focused and minimal by taking action).
Understand your Profit Pillars(Think is your business made of Hay, Straw or Brick).
Have a good conversational website, which is a platform you own. Don’t rely on Facebook, Instagram or other social media platforms to drive your business.
Know your customers and how they want to be reached.
Email lists are not dead, build them.
Learn and have your Sales Funnel.
Deal with humans and be human and interact.
